Description

Metosetâ„¢ Extreme Concrete Repair is a two-component, 100% solids, moisture-tolerant, high-modulus epoxy resin with high structural strength. Suitable for outdoor or indoor use, it’s very versatile and may be applied to slightly damp surfaces with no preparation required, giving a seamless repair.

The packaging is made from a minimum of 30% recycled material (up to 100%).

Key applications

  • High traffic areas
  • Vertical & overhead repairs
  • Edge & corner repairs
  • Joint sealing & bonding

As a structural repair & adhesive for: concrete elements, hard natural stone, ceramics, fibre cement, mortar, bricks, blocks, masonry, render, steel, iron, aluminium, and wood.

Vertical and overhead repair of: corners and edges, hole and void filling, joint arrises, joint filling and crack sealing — on concrete, hard natural stone, solid rock, hollow and solid masonry, steel and wood.

Benefits

  • Can be used on damp concrete
  • Excellent adhesion to the substrate
  • Non-sag, even overhead
  • High structural strength
  • Shrinkage-free hardening
  • Styrene-free and solvent-free
  • Easy A : B = 1 : 1 mix ratio by volume

Mixing

Mix equal amounts of Part A and Part B (by weight or volume) thoroughly until you get an even colour and consistency. For larger (3kg) sizes, remove the hardener dish lid to reveal the resin beneath, then mix both components thoroughly to the correct ratio — a slow-speed mechanical mixer can be used if needed.

Important: use a separate spatula for each of Parts A and B to avoid contamination.

Application

Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, rust or surface water. Ambient, material and surface temperatures should be between 5ºC–30ºC. Smooth surfaces should be abraded beforehand, and concrete substrates should be at least 28 days old. Apply by trowel, spatula or scraper at a minimum thickness of 1mm, and support components while curing to prevent slippage.
